11 Best AI Rank Trackers for LLM Visibility in 2026

By Fenn8 min readAEOToolsMeasurement

An AI rank tracker asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and other assistants a fixed set of prompts and records whether your brand is named, where in the answer, and which sources are cited. As of October 2026 the choice comes down to engines, prompts and refresh: Keyword.com is the cheapest entry (from $9.80 a month on credits), Otterly ($29) and Peec ($95) are dedicated trackers with daily runs, SE Ranking, Semrush, Nightwatch and Ahrefs add prompt tracking to classic rank tracking, and Profound and Scrunch sell enterprise depth. Claude and Grok are the engines most often missing from entry plans; Fenn covers both on every plan but runs checks when you start them, not daily.

11 Best AI Rank Trackers for LLM Visibility

Every tool below was checked on its vendor's own pricing, feature and help pages on 4 October 2026. Prices are list prices in US dollars before tax unless a vendor showed another currency, and they are 'as of October 2026'. The column that matters most is not price; it is which assistants are actually asked, because a tool that skips the assistant your buyers use reports a number about someone else's market.

What 'rank' means in an AI answer

There is no page of ten results to rank on. Trackers report up to four numbers per prompt: whether your brand is named (mention rate), where it appears in the answer (position), whether your URL is listed as a source (citation), and your share of all brand mentions against named competitors (share of voice). The same prompt can return a different answer on the next run, so a single check is a sample of one. Daily or weekly repetition is what turns it into a trend.

The trackers, one by one

Keyword.com: lowest entry price

Prices AI tracking by credits: AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot cost 0.25 credits per prompt per update, DeepSeek 1, Mistral 2 and Claude 3. The AI-only plan starts at $9.80 a month for 20 credits ($7.83 billed annually) and scales to 2,000 credits; a combined Google and AI plan starts at $33 a month. It includes citation analysis, sentiment and competitor tracking, with a 14-day trial (100 keywords, 20 credits, no card). Best for: freelancers and small sites. Limit: Claude at 3 credits per check makes it the expensive engine to track daily.

Otterly.AI: dedicated tracker at a small-team price

Lite is $29 a month ($25 billed annually) for 15 prompts, Standard $189 for 100 and Premium $489 for 400, all tracked daily. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot are included; AI Mode and Gemini ($9 a month on Lite) and Claude ($29 on Lite) are paid add-ons. A free trial is offered; its length is not stated on the pricing page. Best for: a first dedicated tracker. Limit: 15 prompts is a small panel, and add-ons change the real price.

Peec AI: daily share-of-voice dashboards

Starter is $95 a month for 50 prompts, Pro $245 for 150 and Advanced $495 for 350, with three models chosen from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, run daily, and 15% off annually. Extra models are an add-on; Claude, Perplexity, Grok and others are listed as API-based models on Enterprise. Best for: marketing teams that want clean share-of-voice reporting. Limit: Perplexity and Claude are not among the self-serve model choices.

SE Ranking: prompts included with rank tracking

Core ($129 a month, $103.20 annually) includes 100 prompts tracked daily across AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, alongside 2,000 tracked keywords; Growth ($279) includes 250 prompts. An AI Search add-on (from $89 a month) extends limits and adds the standalone SE Visible product. 14-day trial, no card, 20 prompts a day. Best for: SEO teams that want classic and AI rankings in one tool. Limit: no Claude or Grok.

Semrush: AI Visibility Toolkit or Semrush One

The AI Visibility Toolkit is $99 a month per domain billed annually with 25 custom prompts tracked daily and mentions from ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity. Semrush One plans bundle SEO and AI tracking: Starter $199 a month (50 prompts), Pro+ $299 (100) and Advanced $549 (200). Brand Performance reports, built on Semrush's own prompts, update weekly. 7-day trial and a free plan. Best for: Semrush users who want AI data beside their keywords. Limit: monthly-billed pricing for the standalone toolkit was not shown when we checked.

Nightwatch: the widest engine list at entry

Every plan lists ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode and AI Overview, tracked daily, with mentions and the cited source URLs. Starter was €79 a month billed yearly (500 keywords, 50 prompts), Professional €159 (150 prompts) and Agency €399 (500), shown in euros only when we checked. 14-day trial, no card. Best for: teams that need Claude without enterprise pricing. Limit: confirm the dollar price at checkout.

Ahrefs Brand Radar: market-wide index plus custom prompts

Brand Radar draws on an index of 449M+ prompts across AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, re-tested monthly over a 90-day window, and reports mentions and citations separately. Custom prompts run daily, weekly or monthly, and Claude is available there at 8 checks per update. Pricing starts at $199 a month for selected platforms and $699 for all platforms; Ahrefs' paid SEO plans include 5 to 20 daily custom prompts. Best for: competitive research across a whole category. Limit: the main index is monthly, so it is not a daily monitor.

AccuRanker AccuLLM, Scrunch and Profound: the upper end

AccuLLM tracks one prompt across ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and AI Mode daily, from $229 a month for 100 prompts. Scrunch Core is $250 a month for 125 prompts and 5,000 responses on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AIO and Copilot, with a 7-day trial; Enterprise covers nine assistants including Claude, Gemini, Meta AI and Grok. Profound's brand plans are custom-priced Enterprise contracts covering up to nine engines daily, after a free 7-day trial of 50 recommended prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews; its agency plan is $99 a month plus $399 per client workspace. Best for: brands with analyst capacity and budget. Limit: the widest engine coverage is on custom contracts.

Fenn: five assistants, checks you start

Fenn asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok the questions your customers ask, on every plan, and reports per assistant how often you are named, who is named instead, average position, sentiment and the sources cited. Checks run when you start them, each with a spending cap, not on a daily schedule, and Fenn does not do classic rank tracking. What it adds is the next step: site fixes with a ready prompt for your developer or AI coding tool, and drafts of the pages you are missing, which you approve and publish. Plans are $29, $79 and $199 a month, set up after a demo. Best for: teams that want Claude and Grok covered and want findings turned into work. Limit: no automatic daily trend line yet.

How to compare trackers fairly

  1. Write 20 to 30 prompts your buyers would actually type, and use the same set in every trial.
  2. List the assistants your buyers use, then strike any tool that does not ask them on the plan you can afford.
  3. Run each prompt at least three times before trusting a number; answers vary between runs.
  4. Check that mentions and citations are reported separately.
  5. Hand-check five answers against the tool's record. If you cannot reconcile them, the dashboard is not measuring what you think.

FAQ

What is an LLM rank tracker?

A tool that repeatedly asks large language model assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity a fixed set of prompts and records whether your brand is named, its position in the answer, the sources cited and competitors named. 'AI rank tracker' and 'LLM tracking tool' mean the same thing.

Which AI rank tracker covers Claude?

As of October 2026: Nightwatch lists Claude on every plan, Keyword.com at 3 credits per check, Otterly as a paid add-on, Ahrefs Brand Radar through custom prompts, Fenn on every plan, and Peec, Profound and Scrunch on Enterprise.

Can an AI rank tracker guarantee a position in ChatGPT?

No. Trackers measure; nobody controls what an assistant generates. Treat any promise of guaranteed placement as a reason to walk away.

Do I still need a classic rank tracker?

Yes, if organic search still sends you traffic. AI answers and blue-link rankings move independently, which is why SE Ranking, Semrush, Nightwatch, Ahrefs and Keyword.com sell both.

Put this to work on your own website.

Fenn finds what your customers ask, drafts the articles and site fixes, and measures what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok say about you — with every change waiting for your approval.
