Three convictions shape the product, and they are the reason it looks different from the rest of the category.

A finding without a fix is an unpaid invoice

Most tools in this space end at a dashboard. That is the easy half. The hard half is someone opening a file and changing it — which is why Fenn drafts the diff and opens the pull request, behind a human approval, and then checks two weeks later whether the merge moved the number.

The interface is increasingly an agent

If your team already works in Claude or ChatGPT, another tab is a tax. Everything the product can do is available over a hosted MCP server, on every plan including the free one. The dashboard is a convenience, not the only door.

Nothing writes without a person saying yes

Agent autonomy is useful right up until it touches your repository. Gated tools return pending_approval and stop. There is no plan, flag or enterprise tier that removes that step.

How we talk about competitors

Our comparison pages carry no competitor logo, screenshot, palette or copied copy, and they never assert a negative we have not verified. Where we have not checked a capability in a vendor’s own public documentation, the table says “Not published” — because an absence of published information is not evidence of an absent feature. Every page here is written to the standard our own audit enforces: a direct answer first, no throat-clearing intros, real internal linking, structured data on every page, and an llms.txt that actually validates. If we would flag it on your site, we do not ship it on ours.
