Legal
Terms
Fenn is a monthly subscription you can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Your data stays yours and is exportable. Nothing is written to your repository or published on your behalf without a person approving it first.
Last updated 1 August 2026.
The agreement
These terms are between you (or the organisation you represent) and Questera, the provider of Fenn. Creating an account means you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of an employer, you confirm you are allowed to do so.
Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your login and your API keys.
- Keep API keys out of shared chats and public repositories. Rotate them if exposed.
- One person, one login. Seats are per plan; see pricing.
- You must only track domains you own or are authorised to work on.
Billing
- Paid plans bill monthly in advance, in USD, at the published price.
- Cancel any time from the dashboard; access runs to the end of the paid period.
- Credit top-ups are non-refundable but never expire.
- The Free plan is free indefinitely and is not a trial. We may change its limits with 30 days’ notice.
- We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price change affects you.
Repository access and automated changes
If you connect a repository, you grant Fenn scoped access to open pull requests on it. Two things are guaranteed:
- We never push to a default branch and we never merge. Every change arrives as a pull request for your review.
- A pull request is only opened after a human on your side approves it in the dashboard. Gated MCP tools return
pending_approvaland do not execute on call. There is no setting that removes this.
You remain responsible for reviewing, testing and merging any change we propose. See the MCP page for exactly what each tool can do.
Your data
You own your measurement data and your configuration. We process it to run the service, as set out in the privacy policy. Export is self-serve in CSV and JSON, including on the way out.
Acceptable use
- No reselling access outside the multi-client terms of the Agency plan.
- No using the service to attack, scrape or impersonate a third party.
- No attempting to bypass plan limits, rate limits or the approval gate.
- We may suspend an account that is causing harm, and will tell you why.
Service and availability
We aim for high availability but do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on self-serve plans. Answer engines are third-party services and change without notice; if an engine becomes unavailable we will say so in the dashboard rather than quietly return stale numbers.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes get 30 days’ email notice. Questions: hello@questera.ai.
